Our Weekend Trip – Friday
We woke-up, got breakfast, and headed towards Bear Lake. We were there in a spot on the beach before it was 10:00 a.m. We took some inflatable rafts with us, so that took some time to get going, but once it was done we were all out on the lake. It was a little frustrating to try and row with two little kids wanting to row too, we went round and round in circles! We just kept floating further and further away from where we were trying to go! We had to push the raft back to shore, but the kids had a lot of fun with them.

We forgot to bring our chairs to the beach so I used it as a bed for a while, so they were handy, although I looked like a freak laying in it almost complete covered with towels – I didn’t want to get burnt like I did the last time we were there.

We stayed until about 4:30 then headed back to camp. Trevor made dinner while Madison and I took showers. (He usually cooks when we are camping.) After we ate the kids had fun watching the squirrels and chipmunks eat graham crackers. I threw some graham cracker pieces in the garbage next to a tall tree stump and after a few minutes I saw a squirrel climb up the tree stump and jump into the garbage to fish out those crackers. It was pretty funny to watch the squirrels chase the chipmunks away, and listen to their “conversations” with each other. Those squirrels can be pretty loud!!
We also saw some rabbits….no pictures of those however. We went home Sat. morning. We were all tired!
