The Diary of a Crazy Woman

need I say more?

welcome

“Live life fully while you're here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You're going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don't try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.” ~ Anthony Robbins

Mia’s Birthday

We celebrated Mia’s 2nd Birthday on Thanksgiving day. Her official birthday was the 27th, but we were all together for Thanksgiving so we did it then. First of all the girl loves bags. She finds all kinds of bags and stuffs them full of whatever she can find. She found some paper trick-or-treat bags the kids got from school and she filled two of them full of play dishes, which she then took outside and left there. I still need to finish collecting them all. Anyway, I wrapped one of her gifts in a Barbie bag, which she refused to give up, even to get her diaper changed.

The one gift that she got that she liked the most was her plush Boots from Dora the explorer. It was really funny because she kept hugging it, and kissing it. Nothing else mattered after that, and she had no desire to open anything else. Ava tried to hold it and she FREAKED! “MY BOOTS!” she screamed.

When it was time to blow out the birthday candles she refused so Ava did the honors.

I can’t believe she’s two already!! It seems like she was just a baby days ago!! She’s growing so fast and saying so much. I asked her to put her wet diaper in the garbage and she said, “No, you can do it.” in the cutest little voice. Ava and Mia play so well together most of the time, and their favorite “game” is to hide from Bubba (the mean fictional character Nate made up to make Ava behave)! It’s really cute and funny to watch. Now Dylan plays it with them too.
