A Family Home Evening Activity
My kids are the most negative kids. They call each other names all the time and put each other down, which drives me crazy. I decided to have an activity where they had to say at least one nice thing about each person so I printed out each of their pictures taped them to the wall. I also printed out a bunch of word strips that they could use to describe their siblings. It was a good activity so they could recognize the positive things about their siblings. All of the kids did well, except for Trevor. I took him an HOUR to pick one nice thing about each of his siblings. Ugh!! I was glad he finally completed the task. I’m hoping they will remember how the felt about all the nice things their siblings had to say about them.
