A Year of Blessings
I must express my gratitude for all of the many blessings that have come our way over the last year. This past year has had it’s share of trials and tribulations, but we are continually reminded of the humanity that still exists in this world. It seems this time of year is when we see the spirit of Christmas at its finest, and the blessings seem more abundant, but I recognize all of the other ways in which we have been blessed, and am so grateful for the kindness, and generosity of others. Last year’s holiday season brought so many acts of service our way, from anonymous cards and donations, to the outreaching of hands in friendship. This year has not been much different. I received an anonymous card in the mail with a sweet note, and I keep trying to figure out who in the world it could be from and why the person wouldn’t just sign it! We had a box left at our door during the week before Thanksgiving filled with everything needed for a holiday feast, and I was given a gift by another loving person to help me keep my sanity (they shall remain nameless), and just today an anonymous card from a very generous someone. I find it overwhelming that people would be so thoughtful towards us. I share little about my life anymore (only a few select people know of our circumstances, whatever they may be) so the fact that anyone would think of us in such generous ways is truly an act of God. I believe God blesses us through the inspiration He gives others to act in His behalf. We are truly blessed.
Most importantly, I am truly blessed to have such wonderful friends at this time in my life. I am truly blessed to have friends and family who love me and accept me the way I am, craziness and all. I am extremely grateful for ALL of the blessings that have come our way – for a body that works, a warm place to sleep, and car that runs, health insurance, the opportunity I have to be a mother, the health of my family, and for all the other Graces of God in my life.

I love that! I feel the same way right now.
